Innopark Industrial Park at the site of the former soviet military base Dunaújváros.

The workshop was held with the participation of some students from the Department of Agricultural Chemical Technology of Budapest University of  Technology and Economics and the young scientists joined to the project. The programme was as follows:

 

Main objectives of the project (Dr. Éva Fenyvesi)

Presentation of the experiences on the application of RAMEB in the ex situ bioremediation experiment (Edward Soméus)

Evaluation of the effect of RAMEB based on the laboratory experiments (Dr. Katalin Gruiz)

On site demonstration of the experiment, sampling (Edward Soméus, Magdolna Halász)

The workshop was held with the participation of the Project Co-Directors, some students from the Department of Agricultural Chemical Technology of Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the young scientists joined to the project. Mr. Tibor Bartus was invited to represent the Körte-Organica Company working on the site of the former military airbase in Kiskunlacháza. The programme was as follows:

Report on the Annual Meeting in Bologna (Dr. Éva Fenyvesi)

Presentation of the experiences on the application of RAMEB in the ex situ bioremediation experiment (Mr. Edward Soméus)

Critical evaluation of the experiments based on the chemical and biological investigation of the samples  (Dr. Katalin Gruiz and Dr. Attila Murányi)

Discussion and planning of the further steps in the experiment (homogenisation, temperature and humidity records, nutrient addition, more detailed analysis)

Part II. In Situ Experiments

 

Description and characterisation of the site of the former military airbase in Kiskunlacháza (type of soil: sandy with loamy spots, contaminant: kerosene (Mr. Tibor Bartus)
