CycloLab (Cyclodextrin Research & Development Laboratory) is the world's largest and only all-round cyclodextrin research and development laboratory, having the longest tradition, richest literature collection and broadest circle of customers. Pioneers in Cyclodextrin Research & Development since 1972, Prof. Dr. József Szejtli and his staff of internationally acknowledged experts have been working on the field of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry, agrochemical, environmental and analytical applications of cyclodextrins.

CycloLab is the leading worldwide provider of high-value CD derivatives and complexes, in steadily increasing number and variety, from gram to ton amounts. With its more than 300 products CycloLab has a great reputation for quality, which meets the satisfaction of its customers including pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical companies, academic, industrial and government laboratories all over the world.

CycloLab is a partner in research and joint product development providing reports, application guide, know how, Drug Master File, etc.

CycloLab is the publisher of the monthly periodical Cyclodextrin News and the most comprehensive database on cyclodextrin literature in the world. The cyclodextrin laboratory organized the 1st and 8th International Symposia on Cyclodextrins (1981 and 1996) in Budapest.

The company is certified to ISO 9001 standard and operates a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing unit. In recent years, CycloLab has been audited - successfully - by companies like Novartis, Aventis, Therabel, Pharmacia, Schering-CISBio, Richter, etc.

The cyclodextrin laboratory, founded in 1972 by Chinoin Pharm. Chem. Works, Ltd became a private, independent R&D company (Ltd) owned by members and management of the staff. Now it is accommodated in its own, four-floor building (all together 3200 m2).
